I picked this book as part of my Read Harder Challenge 2017 and liked it. The story is about Amanda a trans teenager leaving her city to start over with her dad in a new school.
She finds new friends which like her and start to like a boy in her new school. she is still afraid to tell them about her past and her experience.
what I liked about this book was that it doesn’t picture only struggles but Amanda’s life as a normal teenage girl. The story is both heart aching and heart warming as she faces difficulties and at the same time receives loves and acceptance from her friends and family.

This book is fascinating and thrilling. A very well written YA fantasy book. The plot is perfect, characters are perfect, and actually everything is perfect in this story. This book was so good once I finished, I checked the writer’s page for more of her work and surprise, and it’s her debut novel! Truly amazing!
Caraval is a game, a magical game with many performers. Each year it is held on a random place and you need an invitation to be able to go there. Forever Scarlett wrote to Caraval’s manager, Legend, asking for an invitation for her sister, Tella. They live with their powerful and abusive father and when Scarllete is to be married to a nameless Count they finally receive the invitation. With the help of a young sailor they get to the game but Scarlett loses Tella and now she should decide she is going to play the game and find Tella or only watch what happens.
At the first glance it looks like a cliché YA book but I think it’s more than that. Scarlett starts a path to find Tella and she finds herself. When the story begins characters are dull and easy to predict but eventually they get deeper and change. As a YA book I really enjoyed it.

Carry On is my third book from Rainbow Rowell. She is such a natural in storytelling. Plot flows so easily you cannot put the book down and always want to continue.
This book is a fantasy with the touch of romance. Everyone says Simon Snow is the chosen one but in the eyes of his roommate Baz, he is the worst possible choice. Simon doesn’t show any great talent in magic and most of the time his wand is useless in his hands. Baz on the other hand is brilliant but he is evil and a vampire, most of the school doesn’t know though.
In any possible chance they get they fight or even try to kill each other, so fun. But when Simon’s girlfriend breaks up with him and Baz doesn’t show up for school on their senior year. Simon and his best friend Penelope look for clues to find out where he is. When Baz finally shows up something is wrong …
This book is about friendship, trust, suspicion, evil forces, magic and lots of other things. Love is a must in all Rowell stories and like all her previous books she make it so likable in this book that you enjoy every piece of it.

This books is the third in a very good adult romance series written by Katy Evans. Evan’s writing is addictive and easy to follow. I read previous two books in one or two days and this one wasn’t an exception and I loved it way more than those two.
